Learning to Crawl

While we were in Michigan in June, Benjamin learned to crawl. He had been making progress on that front through the spring (see his fiddler on the roof stance below), but in Michigan he got wings and just took off! Daisy was a fun target for him. Jasper was also great at encouraging him. He'd lie on the floor and in his most uplifting voice would say, "Come on, Benjamin! You can do it, buddy!"


"Look mom, I did it!"


Here is a video I took while we were in Michigan. Benjamin is not only crawling, but through grass. Sometimes he isn't such a fan of grass, but he managed it just fine here.
