Jasper's 1st Thanksgiving

For thanksgiving this year, we went to Ohio. We flew in on Wednesday morning, and the flight went well. To try and limit the pain of traveling on the busiest travel day of the year, we took a 6:15 AM direct flight from Austin to Cleveland. We worked on a plan to help Jasper stay asleep when we woke him at 4:30 AM, but he was ready to go when we picked him up. We continually remind each other how spoiled we are by Jasper's disposition.

Thanksgiving took place at Drew's Aunt Lou's house this year, and Jasper quickly found a seat with his Great Grandpa.

We tried to give Jasper some traditional Thanksgiving food, and he ate some of it. He ate some turkey, but he didn't eat any mashed patotoes, surprisingly. I blame that more on the crowds around him instead of him not liking the food. However, he did enjoy a little pear-lime mousse (aka Seafoam Salad).
The highlight of the time was Jasper's fascination with Sadie. Jasper LOVES doggies, but he hadn't gotten very close to one. After Jasper ate, we let him crawl around with Sadie. Sadie is extremely docile, and Jasper loved it.

We took advantage of the opportunity to take some family photos. Erica pointed out that it is extraordinary that our outfits coordinated.
