Jasper looks really worse for wear after our 6:15am flight, doesn't he? He LOVES our cell phones, and they are great tools of distraction.
On Friday morning, we woke up to snow on the ground. It was soooo pretty early in the day while the sun was out. We don't have winter boots for Jasper yet, so he couldn't go tromping out around in it, but he and daddy did go looking around. We're not sure what he's looking at in either picture (above or below).
While in Akron, Jasper and uncle Jon are roommates. They get along really well together, and Jasper has fun with his uncle Jon.
Sunday afternoon was just hang-out time, watching Jasper play. Both sets of grandparents had a nice time chatting.
my parents: Diane and Joe Jasper
Jasper got to indulge in one of his favorite activities: munching on Cheerios, here with the help of Aunt Lou. He also got to open Aunt Lou & Kathleen's gift: books!!! The Thomas the Train book makes all sorts of noises. It's cool.
Jasper loved exploring grandma and grandpa Gant's house. He crawled under tables, played on the ottoman ...
climbed up the stairs ...
looked at and kissed the baby in the mirror ...
and played with all his new toys. I don't know if it was the weather or what, but despite regular baths, Jasper's hair was often looking quite a bit tossled.
At our final dinner with grandma and grandpa, Jasper joined us in the dining room. He had fun eating chicken, peas and cheese. I happened to catch this really funny look on his face as grandma was cleaning off his hands.
