Play Time

We've been at Grandma and Papa Jasper's house for the past couple days, and Jasper is settling in well. He's napping well and sleeping through the night ... though not as long into the morning as I would like, being that his wake up time is my wake up call. He loves all the toys Grandma got for him, and he's showing real progress at locating with his eyes then bending over to pick up individual toys. He still "rakes" in the toys, but he's also learning that the balls are easy for rolling up his side.

He's been hanging out with Mr. and Mrs. Wall here, but on Saturday Auntie Lindsay and Uncle Chris arrive with Daisy. It will be a full house and lots of fun! He already got to spend one night at the Atkinson's house (in Indy) earlier this week.

Posing with a member of his fan club, Auntie Lindsay.

Uncle Chris made Jasper laugh!

Of course, being at Grandma and Papa Jasper's house now means we had to say goodbye to Grandma and Grandpa Gant on Tuesday. They were sad to see us go and can't wait for the next visit.

Speaking of missing folks, both Jasper and I miss Drew. He's back in Austin (working) while we're vacationing at Grandma and Papa's house. We did a webconference with him this evening, and Jasper just sat mesmerized, looking at his daddy on the computer screen. Papa tried to distract him to see what he would do, but he never took his eyes off his daddy. He might be over a thousand miles away, but Jasper still knows the voice and face of the man who feeds him, reads to him, sings to him and puts him to bed almost every night. He loves his daddy!

Here's one last family photo for a little while. We don't get too many of these.
