Benjamin - at 7 months - is doing classic crawling development. He's going backwards.
Check out this progression of his movement.
As he's getting closer to crawling forward, he'll pull up into a "Fiddler on the Roof" pose, wiggle in his seat to get up the momentum. Then he'll propel himself forward onto the floor. It's really funny to watch.
